Nirvana
Yup that was what i was doing over the past few mths. But now I'm back with the intention of flooding my blog...for my own pleasure of course.
Went to Arab Street with the gals yesterday...was really nice meeting up with them after a long time. It's surprising how as u grow older, things change. There's lesser time to meet, lesser time to fool around. It's not that as ppl grow older their priorities change. It's just that you're suddenly facing a lot of pressure from all sides. Sometimes the pressure is obvious, sometimes it's not...but the rush for time still prevails. To me, my friends r still my 1st priority (sharing e spot with my family).
Anyway, back to our night out. E place was really crowded with it being a public holiday. Saw some guys from Hindi school who failed to recognise me initially...ohh well guess i kept a reaalllyyyy low profile back then. lol. We wanted to go to Ambrosia (hope i spelt it correctly) for Sheesha but had to wait for a while. Thanks to our Sharm's regular visits there, e waiter was really nice and gave us a call in bout 1/2 an hr when there was an empty table. OMG the place is soooo cozy i could easily sleep there!!! The Sheesha was a bit of a disappointment as it was not really strong and yea though we ordered apple flavour... there was hardly any flavour of it. However, the place more or less made up for it.
It's good if u plan to made ur self comfortable and stay there for a long time. The food was good but the servings were verryyy small! The other places I've been to serve an entire place of Hummus dip with Pitta bread and look wat they did here!!!! Ohh well... :(
Tried the Mango Laban (milkshakel ater...Hmmmm...it's really nice! go try it! Also had a Almond Milk tea (forgot it's lebanese transalation). It was nice too...tasted like Indian Badam (almond) Milk, only richer.
Wanted to go to a pub later, but we were so comfy there..that none of us had e drive to get up. So there we sat, playing gunny games and updating each other.... Left the place ard 3...asked my dad to come under the block where the cabby dropped me off as i was having some negative vibes..so y take the risk? Safer than sorry.

Mugging Time...
Can't wait for exams to be over! Was surprised to see a D for my Accounts test!!!Should have served some motivation for me to study...but the exam was tough, tough, tough...Oh well Almighty...I hope you're hearing me!No motivation to study for the last exam...but gotta do welll! It doesn't help that I have a huge craving for cheese n mushroom prata and teh tarik! Met Rahul for dinner yesterday at Al Ameen and the amount we ordered should have satisfied my cravings....but nope hear I am again....Oh tried a new dish, Cauliflower Manchurian..recommended by Rahul of course...and i know everytime I go there I have to eat it!!!Started a new blog 'Juicy Updates' with uni friends...realised got too many 'updates' for each other....haha it's quite fun in a way everyone talking bout random things...Cant wait for hols! Got class chalet, shopping sprees, clubbing, pubbing, well in all ultimate socialising! All dat i missed out cos of my swollen, wounded leg...so glad am outta it, was having horrible thoughts about wat would happen to my leg...(no pics pls too gross to be put up!)But now time for studies...if not hols will be a draggg...

Water Babies
With all this craze bout water babies, one may wonder if water babies really grow by themselves. And, I for 1 wouldn't blame that someone...cos I've a few friends and colleagues who thought water babies are ALIVE!
So being the myth buster(actually I was just interested in seeing them grow), I bought a few packets from Popular. Let's follow the growing stage of these amazing water babies then...
STAGE 1: Took a few beads(will later evolve in water babies) and soaked them in water. 
STAGE 2: Oooohhh here they are!!! 10* it's original size! And it's soo fun to play with it...!
You can actually fill your vases or indoor plants with them. Their main use is to retain water...though children use it as real 'babies' and trade with each other for different colours. What the heck..each packet comes with the same colours. Anyway, so next time you go on a holiday, make real use of water babies and fill your plants with them...so you dont have to worry about watering your plants everyday :)

Birthday WISHES
It's amazing how things fall into place when you stop comparing...A lot of people tell me, don't compare A and Z. There're bound to be differences; differences that'll onli disappoint you.
yesterday was Rahul's b'day. hAPPY bIRTHDAY sweets! Hmmm...as he was telling me yesterday, there has not bn even a year when we haven't wished each other on our b'days, may we be on bad terms or good. I am amused that how things have changed between us...from crush to like to hate to love. And now I hope they stay the way they are....
So being it...spoke to him till 2.30 am yesterday...and just if i was thinking I would fall asleep at work, I had a budget discussion meeting at 9.30 am....after that e day was a roller coaster...and i wonder do things ever slow down at SAFRA??? Had I bn at Krisflyer, I am sure I would have fallen asleep by now!
And Thursday marks my B'day!! Am I xcited bout it?? hmmm not really...as it is I stopped celebratin my b'day when I was 16...sooo this'll b fun...and with ella and sharm as e organisers, it leaves one to wonder....

Never Gone....
Ya I know...I am back after a long long siesta. Everything has fallen into pieces, I have no complaints so no emotions to pen down.
Went for SAFRA recruitment talk today...it was hmmm fun,different, unique experience, eye opener....oh ya if u think guys have grown up think again...just go to any army camp and you'll be proved wrong. The guys practically oggle at girls acting as though they have never seen 1 in their entire life!!! Guess their hormones multiply in the week that they are isolated on the island. Needless to say, I didn't escape their chiuldish remarks and oohhhhsss and aaahhsss.But it can be ignored; just think back to the sec school days...
Thankfully my presentation went well....and managed to get 44 applicants for movie and music club...i think that was a good number considering it was my 1st time. Got 1 more on 5 Oct. Hope to get more!!!And I am super duper tired...can't wait for the weekend...may go to Bintan or if not our very good old sentosa with nujnaw and fel!
And then on a relaxation/shopping/therapy trip with my umbrella ella ella eh eh ella to KL...haha yes back to KL with my sweet memories... shall upload the photos soon.
